FAQ: Rapid Transformational Therapy

  • RTT is a therapeutic approach that combines principles of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It was developed by Marisa Peer, who was named Britain's Best Therapist and considered a pioneer in modern therapeutic methods. Its goal is to help individuals achieve lasting change by identifying and addressing the root cause of their issues, often in just one to three sessions. It’s a powerful tool for people looking to overcome obstacles, align with their goals, and create lasting change.

  • RTT uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind, helping you identify root causes of challenges and reframe them with empowering beliefs. The process involves guided hypnosis, regression, and positive reinforcement techniques to create lasting change.

  • RTT is designed to help reprogram deep-seated beliefs that keep you from living a fulfilled, confident, and empowered life. It may support individuals experiencing:

    • Low self-esteem & self-worth – Feeling like you’re not good enough, always doubting yourself.

    • Anxiety & stress management – Feeling overwhelmed, constantly worrying about the future.

    • Emotional blocks & limiting beliefs – Patterns that keep repeating, holding you back from success or love.

    • Depression & persistent low mood – Feeling weighed down by hopelessness and disconnection.

    • Unhelpful habits & addictions – Smoking, overeating, alcohol dependency, or compulsive behaviors.

    • OCD & intrusive thoughts – Repetitive, distressing thoughts and behaviors that feel uncontrollable.

    • Procrastination & lack of motivation – Feeling paralyzed by indecision or unable to take action.

    • Fear of rejection & social anxiety – Avoiding situations, relationships, or opportunities out of fear.

    • Performance & success mindset shifts – Overcoming imposter syndrome, unlocking confidence in your career or personal life.

  • RTT incorporates elements of hypnotherapy but also includes techniques from other therapeutic modalities like CBT, NLP, and psychotherapy. Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, RTT focuses on rapid breakthroughs in one to three sessions rather than long-term therapy.

  • Yes, RTT is a completely safe and guided process. You remain fully in control and aware throughout the session. I gently guide you into hypnosis to help you access your subconscious mind in a relaxed state, allowing for deep insights and transformation.

  • Absolutely! Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that you’ve likely experienced without even realizing it. For example, have you ever driven somewhere familiar and suddenly realized you don’t remember part of the journey? That’s a “hypnosis-like” state where your mind goes on autopilot. Or perhaps you’ve been so immersed in a song that it feels like time stops, and you’re fully absorbed in the music—that’s another example.

You don’t need any prior experience to benefit from RTT. During our session, I’ll guide you into a deeply relaxed state where your conscious mind quiets down, and your subconscious becomes more open and accessible. You’ll remain fully aware and in control, and together, we’ll work to uncover the root causes of your challenges and create powerful, lasting changes. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to engage.

  • Not at all. Hypnosis is not about losing control—it’s about gaining insight. You’ll remain fully aware of what’s happening during the session and will remember everything we discuss. Think of it like being in a meditative or deeply relaxed state: your mind is clear and focused, but you’re still in charge.

It’s important to know that I can’t make you do or say anything you don’t want to. Hypnosis in RTT is a collaborative process where you’re always in control, working with me to create the changes you want.

  • If the session is interrupted—for example, by a phone call or a knock at the door—don’t worry. You won’t be “stuck” in hypnosis. You’ll naturally return to full awareness the moment your attention shifts. Whether our session is online or in person, I’ll ensure the session is conducted in a quiet, private space to minimize interruptions.

If an interruption does happen, we can simply pick up where we left off without losing progress. Your safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I’ll guide you back into the relaxed state if needed. Remember, RTT is a flexible and adaptive process designed to support you fully.

  • The effects of RTT can be long-lasting or even permanent, as it works at the root cause of issues. However, individual results may vary, and reinforcing new beliefs through listening to personalized recordings is recommended.

  • RTT is not recommended for individuals with:

    • Epilepsy or a history of seizures

    • Psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia

    • Severe mental health conditions that require medical supervision

    • Certain heart conditions where deep relaxation may not be advised

Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical treatment or psychological therapy. If you have a medical or mental health condition, consult with your doctor before seeking RTT.

  • Absolutely! Online RTT hypnotherapy is just as effective as in-person sessions for most people. Since hypnosis works by accessing the subconscious mind, it doesn’t require physical presence. Many clients find it more comfortable and convenient to do RTT from their own space. All you really need to do is get comfy, turn off distractions, and allow this time to be just for you.

  • Yes, online hypnotherapy is completely safe when conducted by a qualified professional. You remain fully in control and aware throughout the session. I guide you into hypnosis in a way that feels comfortable and secure, ensuring you have a quiet, distraction-free space and know exactly what to expect beforehand.

I’ll also make sure the session takes place in a quiet, private setting with a stable internet connection—and you should do the same to minimize interruptions.

If the session is ever disrupted, there’s no need to worry. You won’t be ‘stuck’ in hypnosis. The moment your attention shifts, you’ll naturally return to full awareness. And when we reconnect, we can simply pick up where we left off without losing progress.
