Hi, I am Ying-Ying
I’m the founder of Mindset Alchemist, and I’m here to help you rediscover your authentic self, embrace self-love, and design a life that lights you up from the inside out.
My story? It’s a wild ride filled with resilience, self-discovery, and a big-hearted mission to help you turn life’s messiest moments into your greatest strengths.
Here’s the thing…
Your mindset shapes your reality. What you believe guides your actions, and your actions create your world. I’ve lived this truth again and again, transforming my life by shifting my perspective and believing that something better was always just around the corner.
Resilience, self-love, and following your heart—even when the odds look impossible—are the keys to creating the life you’ve been dreaming of. I’m here to help you unlock those keys and start living fully, unapologetically you.
Following your heart may feel illogical sometimes, but trust me, it’s always worth it
Let me take you back to one of my “What the heck am I doing?!” moments.
At 20, I decided to leave Taiwan and chase my dream of studying at the University of California, Berkeley. Imagine this: I’m standing in a new country, juggling part-time jobs, navigating a whole new culture, and doing my best not to get swallowed by self-doubt. My parents weren’t exactly cheering me on, but I pushed through because deep down, I knew this was my path. Spoiler alert: it worked out. I proved to myself that with enough grit and self-belief, even the wildest dreams can become your reality.
Fast forward a few years, and there I was again, standing at another crossroads. I packed my bags, left my corporate job, and moved to Switzerland to pursue a master’s degree at one of Europe’s top business schools. Scary? Heck, yes. But that leap brought me growth, friendships, and a clearer sense of purpose. Following your heart may feel illogical sometimes, but trust me, it’s always worth it.
Now, let’s get real for a second. Life hasn’t always been smooth sailing. At 34, I made the tough call to end my marriage. It wasn’t easy—the fear of judgment and the uncertainty of starting over were overwhelming. But I knew I had to prioritize my well-being. And guess what? It was the right call. I found myself again, and with that came a deeper love and respect for who I am.
Then came burnout at 36, thanks to a toxic work environment. My body gave out, and I lost my job due to restructuring. But instead of letting it break me, I saw it as a sign from the universe to hit reset. I dove headfirst into therapy, journaling, breathwork, and deep self-growth. The result? A stronger, happier me—and the birth of Mindset Alchemist.
